GENRE: TERROR

CAST:
CARLA GUGINO (JESSIE BURLINGAME)
BRUCE GREENWOOD (GERALD BURLINGAME)

SYNOPSIS:

Jessie (Carla Gugino) and Gerald (Bruce Greenwood) are a mature couple who have been married for 11 years and are already running out of resources to fan the flame of love and desire. They decide to travel to a remote cabin in hopes of revitalizing their deteriorating relationship in a secluded and peaceful setting.

There Gerald proposes a sexual game to his wife: handcuffing her to the bed to increase the sensations.

Gerald after taking the famous blue pill dies of a heart attack, Jessie tries to break the handcuffs that bind her physically and spiritually and she will have to fight for her survival because she has no way to free herself.

The film focuses on the game of escaping death, on accepting the origin of fears and the fight not to go crazy in complete solitude. "The Game of Gerald" is a quite psychological film, and that at certain moments delves into serious themes mixed with fantasy.

The movie Spirited Away is a japanese animation film from famous director, Hayao Miyasaki. The main character is Chihiro, a 12-year-old girl who is moving to a new city, and in the process, they lose and her parents turn into pigs by the effect of a magic spell inside a magic and stranger world. Chihiro's mission is attempt to find and free her parents from the dangerous magic world and return them to their world. I like the movie because it is funny and the animation looks pretty, I love Hayao's art into the movie. The characters are interesting, for example my favorite, Haku, who is an magician, dragon and also Chihiro's friend. He helps chihiro survive into the magic world. He is a very strong wizard. The animation was hand painted with watercolor and pencil. The character and the world looks amazing. The kids would like this movie, but all family can enjoy this film. In 2002 Spirited Away won 35 awards inlcuded an Oscar for best animated film, the first and unique a...
